Mark S. Murphy joined Providence Business News as the newspaper’s editor in November 2005. He previously had served as the editor of Golf World Business, after working in a variety of editing positions at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Murphy holds a bachelor of arts degree from Dartmouth College, a master of science from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and a master of business administration from Columbia’s Graduate School of Business.
