Bank Rhode Island names new
Smithfield branch manager

PROVIDENCE – Bank Rhode Island has named Stacia Izzo manager of its Smithfield branch at 445 Putnam Pike.

Izzo has been with Bank Rhode Island for nearly 17 years, beginning as a senior teller and steadily advancing in roles before becoming manager of the bank’s Pawtucket branch in 2016.

“Throughout her BankRI career, Stacia has demonstrated a drive that is matched only by her commitment to our customers,” said Steven M. Parente, BankRI’s director of retail banking. “She did a tremendous job leading Pawtucket – it was an easy decision to offer her the opportunity in Smithfield and a chance to serve in an area she also calls home.”

The Smithfield branch’s previous manager left the company.

As the branch’s new manager, Izzo leads the office’s business outreach and development efforts, and oversees its daily operations. With a focus on delivering personalized banking, she is tasked with growing the branch’s customer base and is responsible for the hiring and development of a team of financial professionals.

Izzo is a longtime Johnston resident with her teenage daughter. She is among the bank’s most active participants in its annual Children’s Book Drive, Summer Food Drive and Holiday Giving Tree programs, the bank said.
