NEWPORT, R.I. (January 18, 2018) – BankNewport President and CEO, Sandra J. Pattie has announced the promotion of Justin M. Medeiros to vice president, assistant controller. Medeiros joined BankNewport in 2015 most recently serving as accounting manager and officer. He is responsible for managing all aspects of the Bank’s Accounting area, including financial and regulatory reporting and general ledger account maintenance and analysis.
Medeiros earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and holds a Master of Business Administration both from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island.
Justin currently serves as a board member for Child & Family. He is a member of FountainHead Rhode Island, a member of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter Society of Rhode Island and a member of the United Way of Rhode Island’s Young Leaders Circle where he serves on their professional development committee.
Justin is a resident of Bristol, Rhode Island.
