NEWPORT, R.I. (March 15, 2018) – BankNewport President and CEO, Sandra J. Pattie recently announced the promotion of Kenneth R. Burnett to Senior Vice President, Director of Commercial Relationships. Burnett began his career with BankNewport in 2012, most recently serving as Senior Vice President, Manager of Commercial Lending. He is responsible for directing all aspects of commercial lending, including development and oversight of the commercial lending team and the Bank’s commercial lending portfolio throughout Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts.
Burnett earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. He is a member of the board of Grow Smart Rhode Island.
Ken is a resident of North Scituate, Rhode Island.
