CUMBERLAND, R.I. (November 17, 2017) – BankNewport celebrated the opening of a new Lending Center in Cumberland at 2364 Diamond Hill Road with an official ribbon cutting ceremony held on November 15. BankNewport Executive Vice President, Director of Consumer Relationships, Mary Leach presided over the ceremony with Town of Cumberland Mayor William Murray, BankNewport President and CEO Sandra Pattie, BankNewport Board Chairman Peter Capodilupo, and Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, John Gregory in attendance.
The Cumberland Lending Center will provide customers with an expedient borrowing process for a full range of mortgage products, including Equity Builder, Fannie Mae’s Home Ready program, Rhode Island Housing first time homeowner programs, and Flagstar FHA.
The Cumberland office will be staffed with community lending officers and mortgage loan processors. Customers can meet with a mortgage lending officer and complete their application on site. Borrowers may receive an initial loan pre-approval while meeting with a mortgage lending officer.
As an added convenience for BankNewport customers and the community, a walk-up ATM is located at the new office.
