PROVIDENCE – The 2018 Southern New England Go Red for Women luncheon, part of the American Heart Association Go Red for Women movement, will take place on Friday, Feb. 16, at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
The theme of this year’s event is “Just Breathe,” which was derived from a quote by local female corporate leader Wendy E. Kagan.

“Just breathe and take a moment to reset and know everything is going to be OK,” said Kagan, BankNewport’s executive vice president and director of employee and community engagement.
This year’s luncheon will focus on fighting heart disease and stroke in women through a passionate call to action, generating funds to support education and research, and heightening awareness of the prevalence of heart disease in women.
Tickets are $150 each and can be purchased online. Registration closes Feb. 13.
