PROVIDENCE – Bank Rhode Island recently awarded $95,100 in grants to 36 Rhode Island nonprofits that focus on hunger, youth education, emergency needs and other key missions, according to a news release.
Highlighted recipients included the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, which received $3,500 for its Gloria’s Angels meals program for cancer patients and their families, and $2,500 for Teach for America Rhode Island for its teacher training program.
