Grossman’s Bargain Outlet has opened its newest store at 80 Newport Ave., East Providence to the general public as of Monday, September 29th. The store is located just a few miles away from the former Central Falls location, which was closed this past spring when the landlord demolished the property. The new 40,000 sq. ft. location was formerly occupied by a furniture clearance store. The new store is 3 times bigger than the former Central Falls location.
“We have high expectations for this new store as we have a great location with an experienced team of partners,” said Vice President of Operations for Bargain Outlet stores, Bill Ringelstein.
“Our East Providence location will have the company’s largest selection of in stock kitchen cabinets, all of which are on display,” Ringelstein added.
The location will have its Grand Opening event later in October, but is open to the public as the finishing touches are being put in place. Adam Phaneuf is the new location’s manager. He was formerly the manager at the old Central Falls site. Phaneuf is clearly proud of the newest Bargain Outlet store and is looking forward to serving the patrons of the Gansett Shopping Center. When asked what he was looking forward to the most after the grand opening, Phaneuf said, “Just serving the customers on a daily basis.”
