BARRINGTON – A custom house built in 2010 and located on more than an acre of land in the Rumstick Point section of the town has sold for $1.2 million, according to a news release from Residential Properties Ltd.
The house is the 12th in Barrington to sell in excess of $1 million this year.
Located at 160 Rumstick Road, the house has a farmer’s porch, an outdoor patio and a garden. The five-bedroom home has 2.5 bathrooms and 3,200 square feet of living space.
Nancy Ryan, a sales associate in Residential’s Barrington office, represented the buyer, Marguerite R. Shinkle, trustee of the Marguerite R. Shinkle Trust.
The sellers were J. Timothy and Tatyana B. Ouhrabka, according to online property records.
The closing was July 31.
