FALL RIVER – BayCoast Bank has contributed $10,000 to the Southeast regional office of the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center to support the growth of entrepreneurial enterprises in the region, the bank announced.
“We are so grateful to BayCoast Bank for their generous sponsorship and their steadfast commitment to the growth and sustainability of business in the region,” said Melinda Ailes, southeast regional director of the Massachusetts SBDC. “This donation will allow us to continue to provide expert management advice to start up and expanding entrepreneurs.”
The donation by BayCoast Bank will support comprehensive and confidential advisory services at no cost to the entrepreneurs, according to the June 26 announcement by the bank. The advisory services will focus on business growth and strategies, financing and loan assistance, and strategic marketing and operational analysis.
“The resources provided by Melinda and her team at the Southeastern Massachusetts Small Business Development Center are invaluable to local entrepreneurs and small business owners,” said Nicholas Christ, president and CEO of BayCoast Bank.
The bank has a location in Tiverton, as well as several locations in southeastern Massachusetts.
