BayCoast Bank names new chief financial officer

SWANSEA – Marie Pellegrino of Portsmouth has been promoted to the position of senior vice president and chief financial officer at BayCoast Bank.

Pellegrino joined BayCoast in 2013 and has more than 20 years of experience in the finance industry. She previously was the bank’s vice president and controller. In her new job, she has primary responsibility for managing the bank’s finances, including financial planning, management of financial risks, liquidity management and financial reporting.

BayCoast did not say who Pellegrino is replacing.

The bank operates 20 branches in southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The bank also offers other services through its affiliates, BayCoast Financial Services, Plimoth Investment Advisors, Partners Insurance Group LLC, BayCoast Mortgage Co. LLC, and Priority Funding LLC.

Pellegrino holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Providence College. She also graduated from the Massachusetts Bankers School of Financial Studies, hosted at Babson College.
