WARWICK – The Beacon Mutual Insurance Co. will host its first Beacon Builders Safety Fair on Sept. 15, a one-day event that will feature 10 training sessions on various aspects of construction safety.
Attendees may choose up to four of the 10 sessions, including aerial lift safety, CPR certification, respirator training, hand and power tool safety, electrical safety training and general fall protection. Registration is free for Beacon Mutual policyholders and $50 per session for non-policyholders.

At Beacon Mutual, we do everything we can to protect our insureds and their employees.”
The fair, to be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Providence-Warwick on Greenwich Avenue in Warwick, also will feature representatives from the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA), the R.I. Committee on Occupational Health and Safety (RICOSH), the R.I. Department of Labor and Training’s Workers’ Compensation and Compensation Fraud and Compliance units, the American Society of Safety Engineers, and the R.I. Fire Marshal’s Office.
