PROVIDENCE – Unemployment in the Providence-Warwick-Fall River metropolitan area declined 0.2 percentage points year over year in March to 4.8 percent, not seasonally adjusted, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Wednesday. The national seasonally unadjusted unemployment rate was 4.1 percent in March, half a percentage point lower than 4.6 percent a year earlier.…
