How has your company adapted programs and services in response to challenges such as workforce shortages and staff burnout? The biggest change we have made is to enhance flexibility, enabling associates to work remotely and to have more decision-making ability with their days. We have found that to maintain connection in a hybrid world, we need to be more intentional, and have been hosting more events in our office at the team, divisional and organizational level.

How do you support community service work by your employees? Through our BlueAngel program, we inform employees about volunteer opportunities year-round. Blue Across Rhode Island, our annual company-wide day of service when our associates fan out across the state to work side by side with local nonprofits, is now in its 12th year and is our favorite day of the year.
