CRANSTON – Accounting and business advisory services firm Blum, Shapiro & Co. plans to expand into the central Massachusetts market with the opening of a Worcester office, the company announced.
Starting Oct. 1, blumshapiro will occupy 5,000 square feet of office space in the heart of Worcester’s business district at 100 Front St. The new space will be able to house 25 employees initially, the firm said.

Learn MoreIn addition to Cranston, the firm currently has three offices in Massachusetts, in Boston, Newton and Quincy, and three offices in Connecticut, in West Hartford, Shelton and Marlborough.
Overall, the firm employs more than 450 people and offers auditing, accounting, tax and business advisory and outsources services to clients in a range of industries.
