PROVIDENCE – Kathleen Breen Combes has been named the next executive director of Festival Ballet Providence, the organization announced Tuesday.
Breen Combes, currently a principal dancer with Boston Ballet, will transition to her role in September. She will succeed Mihailo Djuric, Festival Ballet Providence’s artistic director and acting executive director. Djuric has served as the organization’s artistic director since 1998 and as acting executive director since 2011. Djuric will remain in the role of artistic director.
