PROVIDENCE – The median price of a single-family home in Bristol County, Mass., in July was $340,000, a 4.9% increase year over year, according to The Warren Group Wednesday.
Total sales were 527 for the month, just one sale higher than in July 2018.

“The median single-family home price hitting $425,000 marked an all-time high for July,” said The Warren Group Associate Publisher and Media Relations Director Cassidy Norton. “Although the spring market is now behind us, I don’t expect a return to normalcy anytime soon. Don’t be surprised if we continue to see major price gains on a year-over-year basis in the coming months.”
Condominium sales in Bristol County, Mass., totaled 93 in July, a 17.7% increase year over year. The median sale price for the month was $225,000, 7.1% higher than one year prior.
The median price of a condo sold in the state in July was $390,000, a 1.3% increase from one year prior. Total sales declined 2.5% in July to 2,463.
