TAUNTON – Bristol County Savings Bank through its charitable foundation donated $323,088 to 45 nonprofits across southeastern Massachusetts and northern Rhode Island, according to a news release.
Nonprofits in the New Bedford and Fall River area received $137,860 in grants, as follows:
- $16,800 to Whitney Academy Inc.
- $15,000 to St. Vincent’s Services
- $15,000 to Thomas Chew Memorial Boys & Girls Club Inc.
- $10,000 to Atlantis Educational Foundation Inc.
- $10,000 to The S.E.A.L. Foundation
- $7,500 to Yeah Corps
- $5,060 to Coastal Foodshed
- $5,000 to Camp Ellie Mae
- $5,000 to Entrepreneurship for All
- $5,000 to Lloyd Center for the Environment
- $5,000 for New Bedford Art Museum
- $5,000 for New Bedford Symphony Orchestra
- $5,000 for Seven Hills Behavioral Health
- $5,000 to STEAM the Streets – Marion Institute
- $5,000 to Steppingstone Inc.
- $5,000 to The Salvation Army – Fall River Corps.
- $5,000 to The Salvation Army – New Bedford Corps.
- $5,000 to the YWCA of Southeastern Massachusetts
- $3,500 to uAspire
Northern Rhode Island nonprofits received $93,500, as follows:
- $10,000 to Local Initiatives Support Corp.

- $7,500 to Capital Good Fund
- $7,500 to Children’s Friend & Service
- $7,500 to Crossroads Rhode Island
- $7,500 to Hope & Hospice Care of Rhode Island

- $6,000 to Little Sisters of the Poor Jeanne Jugan Residence
