Brown-bag lunch for real estate agents will focus on reducing taxes

CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT and author Paul Dion will discuss how to minimize taxes during a brown-bag lunch at the Rhode Island Association of Realtors offices on Dec. 19.

WARWICK – Certified public accountant Paul Dion will hold a brown-bag lunch at the Rhode Island Association of Realtors offices on Dec. 19, aimed at agents who are interested in IRS-approved tax cuts.

Dion is the author of “The Real Estate Investor” and will discuss how to minimize taxes without red flags, gray areas or aggressive strategies.

“Are you taking advantage of all the legitimate deductions, credits, loopholes and strategies that the new tax code offers?” the association stated, in a recent online posting.

The event is from 12:30-2 p.m. and is free for RIAR members and their guests. A $25 no-show fee will be charged. Register through the association website.
