SMITHFIELD – Bryant University’s campus will fully reopen its 428-acre campus on June 1, with all the university’s employees expected to work on-site by then.
While employees will be back on campus early next month, students will still have to take their summer courses remotely, Bryant spokesperson Cecilia Cooper said. Bryant also said a campus-wide committee will work throughout the summer to plan for the university’s fall reopening in September.

Fully vaccinated individuals no longer need to wear a mask outdoors, except for in crowded settings and cannot keep 3 feet apart from others, Bryant said. Mask wearing is still required indoors.
Students who are fully vaccinated must still continue to get tested twice a week, Bryant said, while faculty need to continue being tested once per week. Individuals who are fully vaccinated will not need to quarantine if they have been closely exposed to COVID-19, Bryant said.
