Bungalow built in 1890s sells for $1.4M in Little Compton

LITTLE COMPTON – A bungalow built in the 1890s in the town’s Sakonnet neighborhood recently sold for $1.4 million, according to Residential Properties Ltd., which represented the buyer in the deal.

The two-story, 1,420-square-foot home, located at 127 Sakonnet Point Road, contains three bedrooms, one full bathroom and one half-bathroom, according to online property tax evaluation records.

The living room of the home features a propane fireplace, with south- and west-facing windows, and a covered porch area in front of the home.

The home is located off the road, surrounded by stone walls, trees and other vegetation, with nearly 0.4 acres of land as part of the property, the real estate firm said. The home has views of Round Pound and the ocean, the firm said.

The property also includes a two-car garage, and the backyard features a patio area and an outdoor shower.

The property was most recently valued by Little Compton assessors in 2022 as being worth $1.01 million, according to the town’s online property tax evaluation database.

The home was sold by Alesandra Woodhouse, of Tiverton, according to a copy of the quitclaim deed, a public record documenting the sale. The property was bought by Kurt Spring and Holly Spring, of Winchester, Mass., as trustees of the Kurt Spring Revocable Trust, according to the deed.

Amelia Chafee of Residential Properties represented the buyer of the home, which was listed for sale by Lila Delman Compass, according to the Zillow listing for the property.
