Jim Ciolino is the newest member of Windmoeller & Hoelscher. He is
currently spending time at the company headquarters in Germany to get an overview of W & H equipment. Soon he will arrive at the company’s Lincoln offices, where he will work to promote advanced extrusion technology. He has had experience in the area of sales and marketing of LLDPE stretch film from the positions he has held with Amtopp Corporation for the past four years. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from Westfield State College.
Susan D. Faber has been named information systems officer at
Starkweather & Shepley, Inc., one of the largest insurance agencies in New England. Faber is responsible for development and training in the information systems department. Prior to this position she served as the MIS coordinator responsible for the maintenance of PCs, implementation of new software and programming. A 1980 graduate of Emerson College,

The Rhode Island Year 2000 Association elected a slate of officers at its first formal meeting earlier this month. Elected were Judith West of Westerly Hospital, chairperson; Sally Spadaro of the RI Department of Administration, vice chairperson; Charles Hewitt of Textron, treasurer;
Heather Crowshaw also of Textron, secretary; and Richard Hawkins of Kingston Consulting, communication officer. All officers volunteering their time will serve until the end of 1999. RIYA is a non-profit association put together to provide leadership in the Y2K efforts around the state by sharing knowledge and best practices and providing a forum for discussion of issues affecting Rhode Island businesses, non-profits and government organizations. Tim Kearns has been hired as the new director of marketing for MontegoNet Solutions, a leader in the interactive kiosk market. He will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s marketing and public relations programs. Working most recently for Cunningham Communication, Inc., Kearns was responsible for spearheading the marketing and public relations for technology giants IBM and Motorola.

Jamestown resident Daniel Lilly has been hired as the new sales manager for Integrated Technologies, Inc., a technology training and solutions company in East Providence. Lilly comes to ITI from the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation, where he held the position of procurement administrator. He brings seven years of sales consulting experience focusing on government contracts. Lilly graduated from Fordham University with a bachelor of arts in communications.
Deborah Ring has been promoted to financial manager at Stringer. The company is a full service advertising, public relations, and marketing consulting company, specializing in helping technology companies to build successful brands. Ring will be responsible for the agency’s financial reporting and statements, job costing, and the implementation of a new agency management/accounting software program. She brings 20 years of financial experience to her position. Prior to joining the company she was a controller at Carney/Mohlin & Company in Lynnfield, Mass. She has worked as a freelance bookkeeper with Stringer since 1988.
