What fun activities does your company offer employees to participate in? Some of our activities include a summer outing, a holiday party, birthday celebrations, employee lunches and team-building exercises.
What modifications have you made to your workplace to support employee wellness? We offer an employee assistance program to all of our employees. We have held EAP informational sessions. We also distribute the EAP wellness schedule and newsletters monthly to encourage participation in the program. Recently, we offered CPR training to all employees, including infant and child CPR.
Do you have a preference for promoting existing staff or hiring from outside and why? Our preference is to develop and promote existing staff whenever possible. We have a deep appreciation for rewarding dedicated, hardworking employees. However, we do recognize there are benefits to hiring from outside. New people bring new ideas.
