THE CHICKADEE FARMS building in Hopkinton, a former factory chicken farm, is now home to birds of another feather. Foster Parrots, founded by Marc Johnson, quickly grew from humble beginnings when Johnson first took in parrots into his pottery studio during the 1980s and 1990s, in order to give the tropical birds a needed home.
