Carousel Industries promotes Viera
to chief technology officer

EXETER – Communication and network technology company Carousel Industries Inc. named Jason Viera its new chief technology officer, the company said in a press release.

He was formerly the company’s senior director of infrastructure solutions and has been with the company since 2016. Before that, Viera worked for Cisco.

In this new role, Viera will be tasked with spearheading and shaping the vision of Carousel’s technology strategy to cultivate new opportunities. The company said it has more than 6,000 clients.

“Jason Viera’s promotion … reflects the significant business value he has delivered to clients – especially as we identify new solutions and services to meet their transformation needs,” said Jim Marsh, Carousel’s chief revenue officer, in a statement. “As CTO, Jason is strategically focused on enriching the alignment and collaboration between our engineering and sales teams, while articulating the depth and breadth of our growing portfolio of security, collaboration, data center, networking, XaaS and support services for easier and more holistic consumption by clients.”

Viera said he looks forward to working “to identify and develop solutions that align with our mission of serving as a trusted adviser to our clients” at Carousel.
