NEWPORT – A contractor for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center has been hacked by the Chinese government, compromising at least 614 gigabytes of materials related to undersea warfare, including plans for a not-yet-implemented supersonic anti-ship missile, the Washington Post reported Friday.

The breaches occurred in January and February and were carried out by the Chinese Ministry of State Security, according to investigators.

The contractor was not identified.
