The contract also includes a special program initiated by CME that delivers equipment directly to members’ sites. “Receiving, inspecting, warehousing, assembling and installing” are also covered under the contract, CME says.
The company began partnering with CNECT in 2018. Since then, it has managed about 10,500 pieces of equipment for members of the organization and conducted more than 20,000 inspections.
“We are excited to continue our mutually beneficial relationship with CNECT, providing our general biomedical services to its members, which include labs, surgery centers, veterinary services, offices and other entities that are not health care-related but need our solutions,” said Dan Chevrette, CME’s director of technical services.
Nationwide, CNECT has more than 8,000 members.
