Colonial revival on East Side of Providence sells for $1.7M

PROVIDENCE – A historic home at 166 President Ave. has sold for $1.7 million, representing the third-highest price for a single-family home on the East Side in 2018.

Renovated in 2014, the house includes more than 6,000 square feet of living space and six bedrooms.

Buyers were represented by Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. The sellers were represented by Geo Properties.

The home includes six fireplaces, a covered deck and a stone patio, according to a Dec. 20 news release.
