PROVIDENCE - The Providence-Newport ferry now has its own website, thanks to the R.I. Commerce Corp. and the R.I. Department of Transportation. The new site—www.RideTheBayRI.com—provides schedule and fare information as well as a direct link to book reservations through Seastreak, the state’s contracted ferry operator, the two companies announced in a press release on Wednesday.…
