COOLEY GROUP KNOWS a thing or two about keeping its 200 employees safe and healthy.

The average employee participation rate in company-sponsored health benefit programming routinely reaches 85%-100% at the manufacturing facility, and Cooley appreciates the effort.

From a biannual walking challenge to health fairs to yearly screenings, Cooley looks to cover every facet of health and wellness. One of the company’s plants celebrated more than 1,500 straight injury-free days.

‘We are a very collaborative, cross-functional organization. Our health, wellness and safety initiatives are led by, driven by and engaged by all members of the company.’
Debra Bedrosian, Cooley Group vice president of human resources and social responsibility

“Our social responsibility logo, Cooley/Cares, symbolizes not only our external social responsibilities but embodies how we really feel when it comes to the health and well-being of our employees,” said Deb Bedrosian, Cooley’s vice president of human resources and social responsibility. “We give back to them by doing whatever we can to keep them safe in the workplace and provide them with all the resources, tools, means and knowledge to get and maintain greater health and well-being.”

Cooley has remained operational throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. It offered employees remote work schedules, masks, physical distancing and decreased seating capacity.
