Cox Communications has donated nearly $110,000, in the form of Cox Charities grants, to nonprofit organizations that focus on youth and education in Rhode Island and Connecticut.
The grant recipients include the Rhode Island Academic Decathlon, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick, the Newport Community School, the Goff Community School, South Kingstown CARES and the Mount Hope Learning Center.
The organizations were recognized at a ceremony in January.
