Cranston receiving $1.1M to prevent flooding in Garden Street area

CRANSTON – The city is receiving $1.1 million in federal funding for upgraded infrastructure that will help prevent flooding in the Garden Street area, U.S. Rep. Seth Magaziner, D-R.I., announced Tuesday.  The funding, which Magaziner secured through the fiscal 2026 government appropriations process, will support improvements such as upgraded stormwater infrastructure in the Garden Street watershed,
