WOONSOCKET – CVS Health Corp. recently announced that Heidi Capozzi will join the company as executive vice president and chief people officer starting Sept. 9.
In her new role, Capozzi will lead the human resources, labor relations, compensation and benefits, and corporate social responsibility teams.

Capozzi will report to CVS CEO and President Karen Lynch. Prior to joining CVS, Capozzi served as executive vice president and global chief people officer for McDonald’s Corp., where she was responsible for the company’s human resources and talent management, as well as learning and development, total rewards and corporate employee relations. Before she was at McDonald’s, Capozzi held senior human resources roles at Boeing Co., including as senior vice president of human resources. She has also worked in human resources for large and small enterprises in the defense and automotive industries.

Capozzi succeeds Laurie Havanec, who is leaving the company.
