CVS trust awards $1 million to 13 nonprofits

The CVS/pharmacy Charitable Trust, the private foundation managed by CVS Corp., announced today that it has awarded more than $1 million in grants to 13 Rhode Island nonprofits.

“We are pleased to support these very worthy charities that are working
hard here in our home state to improve people’s lives,” said Eileen Howard Dunn, vice president of the CVS/pharmacy Charitable Trust.

Grants were awarded to organizations dedicated to healthcare, education
and community engagement. Grants went to a variety of nonprofits in the state, including Trinity Repertory and Butler Hospital.
