David DeQuattro has been instrumental in setting RGB as a leading design firm in New England. As Managing Principal of the state’s most influential design firm, he oversees both the long-term vision and day-to-day operations of the practice. David has been with the firm since 1992 and serves on the Board of Directors as President and Chief Executive Officer. Through his contributions, RGB has been acknowledged by Providence Business News as one of the “Top Architectural Firms” in Rhode Island. He has led design and execution of some of Rhode Island’s most prominent projects across multiple practice areas including military, industrial, transportation, mixed-use, corporate, healthcare, science, retail, hospitality, municipal, and academic.

Throughout his three-decade career, David has championed the power of design to shape human experience and has provided visionary design leadership to top clients like General Dynamics-Electric Boat, Rhode Island Army National Guard RIARNG, The Veteran’s Administration, Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office, The Laborer’s International Union of North America, Rhode Island College, Salve Regina University, Johnson & Whales University, Citizens Bank, Carpionato Properties, and Green Development amongst others.
His projects have earned awards from The American Institute of Architects, RI Historic Preservation Society, Providence Preservation Society, American Institute of Steel Construction, South County Habitat for Humanity, National Grid/Advanced Building Core Performance, International Masonry Institute, The American School & University Architectural Portfolio, and the Rhode Island Monthly Design Awards. He has led numerous projects that have been certified as LEED Gold and Silver by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Known as leader and mentor in the design community, David is engaged in empowering the next generation of diverse design professionals. He graduated Roger Williams University with his bachelor’s degree in architecture, is NCARB certified and a LEED Accredited Professional who has also served on the Rhode Island Registration Board of Architects.
