The session, which is open to the public, is from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Rhode Island Nursing Education Center, 350 Eddy St., Providence.

The talk is an opportunity for textile designers and manufacturers to discuss how they’ve brought new technologies and products through the manufacturing process and into the market. The moderator is Michael McKeldon Woody, CEO of Trans-Tex LLC in Cranston and RITIN chair.
Panel participants are Christopher Hart of Navatek in South Kingstown; Stephen Siener of Cooley Group in Pawtucket; Brooks Hagan of Rhode Island School of Design, Computational Textiles Inc., and Weft, in Providence; Clare King of Pawtucket-based Propel; John Caito III of Desmark Industries in Cranston; and Karl Aspelund of the University of Rhode Island.
