Dion named to advisory board for
New England Public Policy Center

PROVIDENCE – The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston has named Paul L. Dion, chief of the R.I. Office of Revenue Analysis, to serve on the New England Public Policy Center’s advisory board.

The organization is a subsidiary of the Boston Fed, providing it with data and other input on economic and financial matters. The advisory board’s role is to guide the Public Policy Center’s staff on research, state and local financial-policy development, and public engagement. The board represents the six New England states.

Dion, a North Kingstown resident, joins John Simmons, executive director of the Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council, as Rhode Island’s current representatives on the advisory board.

“I would like to commend Paul on his appointment to the Public Policy Center board,” said Mark A. Furcolo, director of the state Department of Revenue. “The appointment is a testament to Paul’s analytical abilities and the respect he has among his peers in the region’s economics community.”
