A recent national ranking by WalletHub placed Rhode Island at No. 8 with the worst drug problem among the 50 states and the District of Columbia. Among the negative findings were a high percentage of adults and children using illicit drugs as well as few of those needing medical treatment getting it. Throw in a very low arrest rate for drug offenses, and it would seem that the state is just trying to ignore the issue without treating it. Has this approach had a major impact on your business’s operations?
