How has your company adapted programs and services in response to evolving pandemic-related challenges such as staff burnout and workforce shortages? We have an employee assistance program in place, a wellness program, which included chair massages for the lab staff. We also implemented a company-paid COVID-19 leave policy for employees which is still enforced.

What fun activities does your company offer employees to participate in? We have several events for the North Kingstown employees, including Celebrating Lab Week with meals, food trucks, games, contests and raffles. We also have activities around wellness such as a Walking Club, Gardening Club and Pet Lovers Club.

Do you have a preference for promoting existing staff or hiring from outside and why? We have a preference to promote from within to develop existing employees through training and mentorship. It is important to retain our employees and support our business by maintaining long-term relationships with our clients and customers.
