PROVIDENCE – The R.I. Department of Revenue has created a reference guide for seniors and veterans in Rhode Island who may need a refresher in tax exemptions available to them.

The guide offers a comprehensive list of senior tax exemptions and credits offered by all 39 cities and towns, as well as exemptions and credits available to veterans.

Former prisoners of war, Gold Star parents, service-connected veterans with disabilities and other residents are also eligible for specific tax breaks.
