PROVIDENCE – The Rhode Island State Council on the Arts has awarded the Downtown Providence Parks Conservancy a $3,000 grant for Greater Kennedy Plaza arts and cultural programming.

The grant will help the conservancy present free, accessible and high-quality public programming in Burnside Park.

In recent years, programs have included live music events, a music series and beer garden, and lunchtime “Noon Tunes” events.
