Dr. Meredith Wasserman joins The Miriam’s Minimally Invasive Urology Institute

PROVIDENCE – Lifespan Corp. recently announced that Dr. Meredith Wasserman has joined The Miriam Hospita’s Minimally Invasive Urology Institute.

Wasserman is also an assistant professor of surgery at Brown University. She earned her medical degree from Brown University’s Warren Alpert Medical School and remained there to complete a residency in urology. Wasserman completed fellowship training in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery, as well as neurology at New York University’s Department of Urology at Langone Health.

Wasserman’s areas of clinical expertise include treating complex pelvic floor disorders such as urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse, female sexual dysfunction, neurogenic bladder, complex voiding dysfunction and functional urology in both men and women. She uses robotic, laparoscopic, vaginal and endourologic techniques in managing these conditions.

Wasserman is a member of the American Urological Association, the Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction, the Society of Women in Urology and the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health.
