Dryvit Systems Inc., a manufacturer of exterior insulation and finish systems, recently donated nearly $6,500 to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dryvit raised the funds during a silent auction held at the company’s national distributor meeting.
The auction was held to benefit Dana-Farber in honor of Dryvit’s former vice president of sales, Duncan Crowther, who died of cancer in 1999.
The company’s 10 field service managers were challenged to creatively express what could be done with Dryvit premium finishes: Terraneo, Custom Brick, Lymestone and Tuscan Glaze. Distributors at the meeting later bid on the creative samples produced, raising $3,025. Dryvit matched that donation with all proceeds benefiting Dana-Farber.
“We are truly impressed with both the designs that our field service managers created, and the generosity of our distributors,” said Tony Stall, vice president of marketing for Dryvit.
Dryvit systems and products have been used on more than 400,000 projects worldwide, including Foxwoods Casino and Providence Place
