PROVIDENCE – The Dunkin’ Donuts Center ranked No. 87 out of the top 200 arena venues worldwide with 108,673 ticket sales in Pollstar’s midyear review released Wednesday.

The Dunkin’ Donuts Center ranked only four spots behind Boston’s TD Garden, which sold a reported 111,713 tickets.

Also included on the list were notables like the O2 in London (which far outsold any other arena venue in the world, midyear, with over 1 million ticket sales), Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY and Madison Square Garden in New York City.

“We owe a huge thank you to the numerous promoters and agents who choose to business here,” said Lawrence Lepore, General Manager of the Dunkin’ Donuts Center. “In the Northeast market, which is saturated with arena options, it is because of our solid relationships and the promoters’ continued success that enable us to bring the caliber of touring acts to Rhode Island at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center.”

Besides hosting touring acts from around the world, the arena is also home to the AHL Providence Bruins and the Providence College Friars.
