Early Head Start gets federal windfall

PROVIDENCE — Children’s Friend and Service, based in Providence, will receive
federal funding in the amount of $861,000 to continue its Early Head Start program
for families in Providence and Central Falls. The year-round program offers child
development classes and education groups.
