Aphasia Clefs use music to improve communication HANDS IN HARMONY’S Neurologic Music Therapy choir, the Aphasia Clefs, will perform at the University of Rhode Island in order to display what music can do for people who have communication disorders. Hands in Harmony’s mission and focus is to address health-related outcomes throughout Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts, using neurologic music therapy interventions. The organization’s goal is to improve communication, build community and to decrease social stigmas associated with language disorders.

Garden talk Linden Place is hosting a Garden Talk event with John Whitney, a manager at Redwood Nursery who will give a demonstration on “Planting the new Season” in the back gardens of Linden Place.
