This special awards program recognizes individuals and organizations in the healthcare field who excel in helping others, promoting innovation, or improving access to care. Whether they are companies, doctors, nurses, specialists, or managers—working on the front lines or behind the scenes—we want to hear about those who go above and beyond to provide pivotal support and make significant contributions to keeping our community safe and healthy throughout the year.
We aim to shine a light on our region’s healthcare champions and share their stories.
Please join us in nominating, thanking, and celebrating our community’s everyday champions. Honorees will be announced on February 24th, featured in a special edition published on April 11th, and recognized at a special celebration during our spring Health Care Summit. Nominations close on February 12th.

FAQ
WHAT INDIVIDUALS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS AWARD? To be eligible, the nominee must be based in RI or Southeastern MA
WHO CAN BE NOMINATED? Nominees can be anyone working in medical/healthcare field, hospice, nursing and assisted living facilities, mental health and social service agencies, and city employees, law enforcement, first responders, and/or other critical services.
WHO CAN NOMINATE? Nominations can be submitted by a coworker, business associate, friend, or family member, or anyone familiar with the nominee. We also accept self-nominations.
HOW WILL NOMINEES BE CHOSEN? Nominees are chosen through an independent judging process and based on the information submitted, not based on popularity. Please be as thorough as possible with your nomination and any additional supporting information.
