PAWTUCKET – Figmints Delicious Design & Creative Marketing LLC and North Star Marketing Inc. have merged, the two companies announced Wednesday.

The organizations, both which identify as faith-based companies, will feature both inbound and outbound marketing.

Five of 10 Northstar employees have joined the 10-person Figmints team in the merger, which will now be based out of the Figmint’s office in Pawtucket.

April Williams, president of North Star, said that the merger is expected to drive company growth, both geographically and in terms of employee count, describing the merger to PBN as a “perfect marriage.”

“Over the past 21 years, I have focused on getting marketing and sales departments aligned to make marketing work for sales. Joining with Figmints is the exciting next step for that mission. Bringing developers, designers and digital marketing to our SalesAmp process will allow us to scale, and support marketing and sales teams with even greater results,” stated Williams, president and visionary, North Star in the companies’ announcement.

Williams said that currently the ultimate branding of the merged company is still on the table. It is possible that the company will rebrand or remain under the Figmints brand.

“We get really excited when we get to help companies and organizations tell stories worth sharing,” said James Kwon, CEO of Figmints in a statement. “We craft these stories visually through branding, establishing them on the web, and driving the right audience to listen carefully. The biggest impact is when we connect these stories in a way that it improves the bottom line and shows how a predictable funnel can change the way a business views marketing.”

The merger was effective May 1. Kwon will serve as the merged company’s CEO, while Williams will serve as the company’s president.
