CRANSTON – In a late December announcement, Tim Flanagan, general manager of the Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln, was named to the Rhode Island Hospitality Association board of directors, effective Jan. 1.
“Tim’s extensive experience in the hospitality industry and in the private golf-club sector makes him a wonderful asset to our board,” said Dale J. Venturini, president and CEO of the hospitality association, in prepared remarks. “I look forward to collaborating with him and his fellow board members in 2019.”

Flanagan, one of five new board members to be appointed at the end of last year, has served as Kirkbrae’s general manager since 2007. His tenure at the club started with a two-year stint from 2002 to 2004 and then 2005 to the present.
He also sits on the board of the Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Club Managers Association of America and the New England Club Managers Association.
