The ranking recognized advisers born in 1980 or later with a minimum of four years of experience. Nationwide, 6,389 advisers were considered and 1,495, or 23% of candidates, were recognized.
The magazine sought to find out which advisers best represent the future of the wealth-management industry.
Forbes said advisers were rated based on a “proprietary algorithm” of qualitative and quantitative criteria that included in-person interviews, industry experience, compliance records, revenue produced and assets under management.
Massachusetts placed 67 wealth advisers on the list, but none were based in nearby Bristol County. As expected, a large majority of them were clustered in and around Boston.
